Christmas 2012

We kicked off the Christmas season with our neighborhood's Breakfast with Santa.  Emersyn was not at all interested in sitting or talking to the big man so I wasn't expecting much.  But when Madeline went to sit with Santa, Chris decided to put Emmie down right next to her and she did great!  She even smiled a little!

Clinging safely to Daddy

This isn't so bad...

CHRISTMAS EVE
We had a surprise dusting of snow on Christmas Eve which gave us a white Christmas!  The girls played a little bit while it was coming down.  It was so pretty!

After relaxing at home all morning, we spent the evening with the Moskals.  Sam's new puppy Ryder was there giving the girls plenty of kisses!

Yipee!  Dollar Store gift cards.  Can't wait to go shopping with Grandma!

Still not so sure about this Santa thing.  Although, he does resemble Grandpa...

Come on Em, smile!

Well, ok :)

Lovely Moskal ladies

Getting excited for Santa!

CHRISTMAS DAY

View from our window in the morning

Finally gave Emmie her Bitty Baby from the Woj's ( mainly because Maddie had way more presents than she did, ha!)

Hugging her beloved Pikachu!

Sweet Pea costume for Bitty Baby that matches the one that both girls wore as babies.  So cute!

After we went to mass, we played out in the snow.  We built one heck of a snowman.  I think it lasted longer than any other snowman in the neighborhood.  Part of it is still in our yard two weeks later!

Maddie said the snowman was missing a broom, so we improvised and gave him a golf club instead.  "Down to the village, with a golf club in his hand..."  More appropriate for our family anyway!

In the afternoon, we headed over to my parents house to celebrate.

Andie playing with her new Lego table I made for her; just like Emmie's.

Three little elves!

Nana and Grandpa and their girls

CELEBRATING AT GREAT NANA'S
We traveled to see Great Nana and the Flemings the weekend after Christmas.  We postponed one day due to snow in the forecast and it was worth waiting, because we had about 3 inches waiting for us when we got there. The kids went sledding down the same hill that my mom and all her siblings went sledding on when they were growing up.  Good times and good memories!

Em and baby Adelyn.  She was so into the baby.  She kept asking to hold her.  Made me realize she is becoming such a big girl.  I still think of her as my baby!

The girls and their slippers from Great Nana

Fun in the snow!

These two were cracking us up.  Every time we pulled them up the hill, Emersyn and Andie would lie down in the sled and end up almost upside down/backwards.  Geordie said it reminded him of the movie Holy Grail and the scene where they are saying, "Bring out your dead!"

The gang!

Beautiful girls, staying warm inside
