Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter weekend! We spent Saturday up in PA at Great Nana's. And Sunday we went to church just the 3 of us, then to breakfast, then took a Mommy/Maddie nap which was heavenly, then to Grandma and Grandpa's house for dinner. Maddie mastered the egg hunts and the Easter Bunny brought her a Dora scooter! When we asked her what she wanted from the Easter Bunny, she said "a red lollipop." Boy, that's easy. So she got a red lollipop too :)

Easter Portraits

I took Maddie for Easter pictures and she is no longer afraid of the portrait place! She didn't do well when we took her this past Halloween or Christmas, clinging to us, crying and not wanting to pose. Well this time I got her really excited and told her I'd take her for ice cream if she cooperated. It worked! The photographer had her posing and tilting her head and putting her hands a certain way like she was 5! I couldn't believe how well she did. I got the CD and I am able to post some of my favs.

Cherry Blossoms

In the spirit of upholding a near annual tradition, my mom (Nana), Madeline, and I went to DC to see the cherry blossoms. We lucked out with great weather again and had a great day!

A Photographer in the Making

It's always been a wish of mine that I was an amazing photographer. I now have a good camera that takes great pictures and I give all the credit to the camera, not the photographer. Well maybe Maddie will possess the talent I wish I had. She is really into taking pictures so we let her play with our old camera. Here are some decent shots she took!
