The Terrific (Tiring) Ten!

We started as the Fab Five in college and we are now a much bigger group.  Counting our husbands and kids, we are 20 now!  Typically, our hubbies do not join in on the chaos.  Of couse, whoever's house we go to gets the privilege of witnessing our craziness :)  This time Brian was the lucky one as we all descended upon Shelley's beautiful home and neighborhood in South Carolina.  Shelley's third, little Lainey was born in October and we all wanted to meet her.  And we had to get in a visit with Jess before she moves to Hawaii!!!  So now instead of just the Fab Five, we called the kids the Terrific Ten.  That was at th start of the visit.  By the end, the name Tiring Ten seemed more fitting.  They were all great, but putting 10 kids together for 3 days always brings a bit of chaos.  We didn't even leave the neighborhood but had a fun-filled time including an egg hunt, pizza and roasting marshmallows, a LONG walk around the gorgeous neighborhood, the playground, a visit to the stables to see Lourdes's pony Teddy, and the pool!  And most importantly, we got to all be together.  I cherish every moment with these girls and their kids.  They are all growing up fast and they will only be little once.  And then once they aren't little, we will do a ladies only trip to NYC, a spa, anywhere.  But for now, we'll enjoy the chaos!

All of us together, a rare occasion!

Here is our attempt at a group shot of the kids with their UVA shirts.  Everyone cooperated except Emersyn (very out of character for her).  In the moment, I was very disappointed and frustrated we couldn't get a good picture.  But now looking back, these pictures are priceless.  I couldn't pick just one!

Love how Maddie is trying to hold her in place with her foot!
